Management Compass invites essay entries for the Second Annual Management Compass Essay Writing Competition. The themes are:

  • Power no longer flows from the barrel of the gun, it flows from the click of the mouse.
  • India is not only Europe’s past but its future as well, says historian Ramachandra Guha in his book India after Gandhi. Do you agree?
  • Ten defining moments in Indian cinema.

Interested candidate are free to choose from among these three topics. You can write on any of these themes in 1,500 words. A phrase or an extract can be quoted only upon giving due credit to the author.

Prizes: The top entry in each category gets a laptop. The second winner in each category gets a digital camera. The third winner gets an i-pod.

The top five entries under each theme will be published in November 2008 issue of Management Compass.

Who can participate: Undergraduate students and postgraduate students from any stream, MBA students and working professionals in the age group 18 to 25.
